Winter Sim 2015 is fast approaching which can only mean that the time to submit a case study for the Case Studies Track is here! This is an opportunity for professionals across all industries to share real world simulation projects.
The Case Studies Track was a big success at last year’s conference. Each session provided an opportunity for simulation professionals to network and share their experiences with each other. Visit the WSC’s Case Studies page to find a link that will direct you to the abstracts from last year’s conference or visit the 2014 WSC Archives to see the extended abstracts of most of the Case Studies.
Summarize the project in a short, 2 page extended abstract. If the case study is selected, it will appear in the final program of WSC, on the WSC Archive website and the author will give a 30 minute presentation at this year’s conference in Huntington Beach, CA. The abstract should, at a minimum, describe the problem, the simulation methods used, the results, and the impact/benefits of the project. Please make sure those who submit understand that if their paper is selected, they are expected to present at the conference.
Abstracts can be submitted now via at the conference website. The deadline for submissions is August 17, 2015.
