Join us for the ‘@SIMUL8 Virtual User Group’

I’ve recently been talking to a selection of users to find out how we can support our user community more.

Whether it’s a new user just starting out with simulation, or one of our experts who have been working with SIMUL8 for over 20 years, one of the biggest themes that has come through is the desire for our users to learn from each other and to share knowledge and ideas – but they don’t know where to get started.

We know not everyone can take time out to attend conferences and user meetings so we’re making it easy for you to get involved with our series of one hour on-line Virtual User Groups.

Join us on September 17 for the @SIMUL8 Virtual User Group to share ideas, connect, and learn with other users.

I’m delighted to announce that we’ll be joined by two of our SIMUL8 experts, Dr. John Speir from Applied Research Services and Brian Harrington a 20 year veteran of Ford Motor Company.

In our Project Spotlight section, John will talk us through some of his recent work in designing and implementing simulation software tools for correctional systems to assess the impact of new policies and plan for the future.and share insight on best practice in simulation.

Also, in the Learning Zone, Brian will call on his experience as a Six Sigma Black Belt Black Belt to share his thoughts on “A Six Sigma approach to building successful simulations.

We’ll also keep you up to date with what’s going on at SIMUL8 and get your views on what you would like to see in the next release of SIMUL8, SIMUL8 2014.

Don’t worry if you can’t make it. As part of our promise to making it easy for you we’ll be releasing all content, slides and updates through social media. So be sure to register or follow us to receive the latest updates.

If you have anything else you would like to see then please do get in touch.
