A Revelation – Simulation can be easy

It’s so nice when people get what SIMUL8 is all about, making simulation quick and easy. This way you can you can use it in all your decisions and make better evidence based decisions as a result.

This week it was a car manufacturer who has been using simulation for years but had started to have doubts about whether it was worth the effort. In steps SIMUL8 and suddenly he’s back on board and then some.

All the tools he’s been using create visually beautiful 3D simulations, problem is that it’s an elaborate, technically hard building process, he cited it takes months to build single simulations! Yes 3D is nice, SIMUL8 checked that box years ago. I do mean checked, we did it so we could say we could, not because we believe it helps you make better decisions. 3D has its place but not as a corner stone in business process decision making.

Our new customer (we won his business) says SIMUL8 is the right level for building simulations that show management what will happen to the KPIs they care about. It’s flexibility to be able to be able to tackle both operational and strategic simulations is something he’s old 3D tool could only dream about.

He described SIMUL8 as a “revelation”, think that says it all really.
