We are delighted to share that Simul8 and Shout It Now are nominated for not 1 but 5 Tech for Good awards!
This year, we have made the shortlist for the 2023 UK Better Society Awards in the Pro Bono Company of the Year and Tech for Good categories, the 2023 British Data Awards in the Data for Good Consulting Initiative category and ScotlandIS has nominated us for a Digital Technology award in its Tech for Good category.
That’s not all, we couldn’t be more proud of our Simulation Excellence team who are nominated for the Tech Team of the Year award at the 2023 National Technology Awards!
Our work with NPO Shout It Now
These nominations are a result of our work with South African HIV and gender-based violence prevention NPO, Shout it Now (Shout).
Through our partnership with Shout It Now, the NPO were able to explore ways to optimize its operations so that they can treat more patients with its fleet of mobile clinics. So far, Shout It Now have had amazing results, including:
- A 44% increase in clients being tested for HIV
- A 27% increase in at-risk clients being initiated onto PrEP (the HIV prevention pill)
- A 30% increase in the number of gender-based violence victims they were able to support
Shout It Now has also reduced waiting times, maximizing the time that the team are able to spend one-on-one with clients, and improved working conditions for staff thanks to its simulation project with Simul8.

When we heard about Shout it Now’s efforts to tackle this epidemic in South Africa, in communities that are far less fortunate, we felt a real responsibility to offer our support.
