SIMUL8 and Scenario Generator Healthcare Users (HaCIRIC Project)

The University of Southampton is currently working with colleagues at Imperial College London as part of the HaCIRIC project to examine the use of simulation and modeling in group decision making & coordination within the National Health Service.

This study considers how models and simulations can be used in health sector operational and policy planning. The particular focus is on models used to bring together distributed knowledge and expertise.

They are keen to observe and conduct interviews with trusts and agencies using
SIMUL8 (or other DES modeling tools) in a group decision making or planning context.
