Jump Start Your Processes with SIMUL8 2012
As we announced on Monday, SIMUL8 2012 is out! Which means this week we’re going help you familiarize yourself with all the new and exciting features. Today we’re going to cover Jump Start and our Improved Interface – 2 features we’re really excited about, we hope you are too!
The Jump Start menu, is an easy way to search all of the features in the SIMUL8 menu. Jump Start is located in the top right corner and all you need to do is simply type in the name of a feature you’re looking for and SIMUL8 finds it for you.
In 2011 we gave you a whole new interface, and now we’ve given even our simulation objects a face-lift! And we’ve given them new names, making 2012 a real name changer:
- Work Entry Point is now Start Point
- Storage Bin is now Queue
- Work Center is now Activity
- Work Exit Point is now End
