Join us at MSUG 2015
This year, the Michigan Simulation Users Group (MSUG) Annual Conference will take place on October 14 in Troy, MI and we’re really looking forward to attending!
Executive VP Customer Relations, Ken Doole; Head of Services North America, Sander Vermeulen; and I will be there to meet with SIMUL8 users, and discuss the latest developments in simulation.
The 2015 MSUG Conference brings together simulation practitioners, researchers and vendors working in many disciplines to consider a broad range of simulation topics and applications and this year’s conference aims to explore the use of simulation beyond conventional manufacturing applications.
With that in mind, Sander Vermeulen will be presenting a session with Ford Motor Company’s Capacity Manager Supervisor Tom Woods about using simulation in other areas in your manufacturing organization. They will be discussing the use of simulation within contact center projects and looking at the specific examples of improving your support desk.
Many of our manufacturing customers won’t make a change to their production line without simulating it first. So are there lessons from this that we should be sharing with other departments within an organization? Simulation has the ability to handle any process at any level of complexity, so if it works for your production line, why not for your back office processes or contact centers? Our presentation will discuss this and look at the example of a contact center and highlight what SIMUL8 can bring to any organization handling customer interactions to improve call flow, staff utilization and profitability and it will get you thinking about what else you could be improving with SIMUL8. We’re proud to be supporting MSUG again this year and we’re excited to meet up with old friends and new. With so many SIMUL8 users all together in one city, we’re taking the opportunity to hold a drinks reception in the evening following MSUG. Whether you are attending the conference or not, if you happen to be in the Troy area on Oct 14, come along in the evening and join us to have a few drinks and network with other simulation users.
If you’d like to attend MSUG, you can find out how here, and until September 30 registration is only $25 per person and includes lunch.
If you’d like to attend the drinks reception, or meet us at MSUG then contact me on 800 547 6024 or Corinne.F@SIMUL8.com and I’ll be happy to provide details.
